What is the best way to work out at home?

I don't want to buy a lot of bulky equipment.

You can decide to be healthy instead of fit. To be healthy, no equipment is needed. I prefer an exercise routine called qigong. There are many different forms of qigong and Tai Chi is one of these. Tai Chi has many moves so other forms are preferred. You will not build muscle but you will be very healthy.

If you have stairs, you can work out by running up and down the stairs, you can also jump up and run down your stairs. If you have heavy pots and pans you can use that as a workout equipment

There are things that you can do without any equipment. You can do Jumping jacks, push ups, sit ups, knee bends, run in place and shadow boxing. If you need some resistance work but have no weights, you can lift bags of flour, sugar, or heavy cams of food or boxes of detergent.

A great way to work out at home is to do pilates or yoga, which can be done by simply using a dvd and a pilates mat (which is not required). Pilates and yoga very work well to strengthen your muscles, increase flexibility, and improve proper breathing, providing a great all around workout.
