What is the best way to train for a 5k?

The best way is to slowly get up to running the full 5k, instead of trying to run a 5k immediately until you can do it. Start with running 30 seconds, then walking 60 seconds until you hit 2k. Each week, increase the amount of running, and the distance you go each time.

I will apply into a hip hop dancing class, which is one form of exercise, and subscribe for how many months a 5k will cover.
