Before painting your brick fireplace, you must first make sure that the brick is clean and dry, so that the paint neither goes on unevenly nor bubbles over. Using a roller, cover the brick with a primer, then after it dries, using a second roller, use an interior paint.

One of the more easier way to paint through the brick fireplace is to first prep the fireplace then you will place interior paint on the fireplace and allow to dry. Depending on the type of paint you want you may need to do two additional coats as needed to dry.
