The easiest way to learn to do a KIP is to first increase your body strength. The stronger your upper body the easier it will be. Next, get the feeling of doing it by practicing it on the floor first, and once you get on the bar practice one segment at a time until you perfect each step.

Strength is the main thing that you can improve here to make this move more achievable. Focus on core strength, particularly the stomach muscles - a good way to improve this, especially in gymnastics is V-sits where you lift your upper body and lower body to make a "V" and then lay back down.

the easiest way to learn the kip is to work on your upper body strength also let her swing on the lower bar in straddle position or about 10-15secs and when doing this keep your arms straight and that should help you get enough strength to do the kip.

If a regular kip, have her work on a controlled cast and then putting feet to bars. A long hang kip, practice stomach strength and arm strangth.

The best way to learn how to do anything is pratice and not give up. She can get an instructional video and constantly pratice.

Make sure your daughter has strong upper body strength. Break the skill down into smaller, more manageable steps for your daughter. This will make it easier.
