First, take all your clothes out of closet, drawers, etc. Then vacuum and clean area thoroughly. You don't want to leave any eggs or larva to re-infest the area. Then take All of the clothes and clean them. You may even consider spraying an insecticide. To prevent further problems in the future consider some ceder products for closets and drawers.

Natural moth repellents include lavender sachets, lavender oil on cotton balls and placed in drawers and closet, mint leaves, and cedar wood. You can make a sachet containing all four herbs-cloves, ginseng, thyme, rosemary-or choose a single herb. Another recipe contains cinnamon bark or sticks, whole cloves and peppercorns all mixed together and put in cheesecloth and hang in closet.

Well you can buy moth balls at the store fairly cheap, a cedar type spray will repel them too since moths do not like the smell of cedar.

I have had great results with cedar products. You can get them in your grocery store and they work like a miracle.
