Will one of the beast game magazine on the market would have to be PC gamer but that is geared more to PC games. I all depends what knda of games he is playing there is a market in magazine sales for ever platform.
It depends on what your gaming preferences are. Mine personally is Game Imformer but there are magazines dedicated to Playstation Nintendo or Xbox. Find one that fits your style.
I think Game Informer is the best. Their magazines seem to have the latest and most informative video game-related news spanning across all of the latest platforms.
There are plenty of video game magazines out there. Even the man manufactures (Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft) have their own magazines. I prefer Game Informer, but it's more of a personally preference.
