What is the best type of camper shell?

I personally like the soft top camper shells. They are easier to install and remove and simple to store. In my experience these have been great for camping and all sorts of out door activities. Other camper shells are too difficult to install and a total waste of your time.

The best camper shell i had was from JayCo and it never gave me any problems. It was well insulated and never leaked.

Most people choose camper shells of metal. Other people choose camper shells of plastic. Then some people choose to use tarp. I find that plastic camper shells tend to work better then metal camper shells. They do not rust through during the winter when it snows and do not become as hot in the summer.
