Shell is polished by furniture polish using a silicon spray can. The other way of polishing is soaking it in a mixture of equal quantity of water and bleach for atleast 2 days, rinse with clean water, scrub the shells and dry, smooth with grit sandpaper, apply some mineral oil, remove residues and buff with dry cloth

You can polish a shell a many of number of ways. The simple way would be to get some baking soda and water & immerse the shell in the baking soda & water for about fifteen minutes. When you pull the shell out of the solution you can then polish the shell. This not only cleans the shell it brightens.

Rub paste wax on the shell a towl and then rub it off. You will then need to do it a second time. if you get wax build up in crevices clean them out with a toothpick. Finally, top with a coat of mosiac grout sealant to make them shine.

Buy a jar of clear nail polish. Using a small paint brush, paint shell completely and let dry (use finger to hold it up while drying). When shell is dry, spray with non-flake hair spray completely.
