Wash the leaves with a dilute soapy solution. For scale, there are natural treatments such as Sun Spray horticultural oil that is very efficacious. Rubbing alcohol mixed with water in a 1:5 proportion with a little liquid soap works very well. Neem oil mixed with water and a dash of Pine Sol to mitigate the onion odor also works well.

Spider mites are #1 pests for the spider plant. Isolate your plant to keep from spreading. Spray with insecticidal soap every 3-5 days for 2 weeks. if this doesn't work try Neem oil or an alcohol solution (4 parts water to 3 parts rubbing alcohol with squirt of dishwashing detergent.
