My old spider plant is drooping, and the leaves are turning yellow and are wet. What is wrong?

It could be a few things, but I would first check that you are not overwatering it. Too much water causes root rot which kills the plant.

This could be overwatering or underwatering. The top 1/2" of soil should be dry before rewatering. If saturated, repot and let it's "feet" get dry.

When a spider plant droops or the leaves begin to turn brown and are also wet, it is clearly a problem of nitrogen deprivation, due to over-watering.
