Well that is impossible to say since US consumer only have access to a limited selection. From personal experience I can recommend Samsung players. They are very well made and typically offer more functionality(radio, bluetooth, etc..) than a similarly priced player. The best model of currently would probably be the P3. However the P2 and T10 are also good players.

This is a good question that would likely get a different answer depending on who you ask. If I had to give you an answer, I would say the Apple iPod Touch. You can listen to MP3s, surf the web, get email and download apps and games on it.

I have tried many MP3 Players, and have found that the cheap ones are not the best in the world, my favorite is still the Apple Ipod and there are Ipods for all different budgets.

The best MP3 player in the world is one that caters best to the individuals needs so it will be different on a case by case basis.
