What is the best meat slicer?

I love the EdgeCraft 610 Electric slicer because it's very easy to use, easy to clean, fairly lightweight, and comes at a great price point for use as home slicer.

I went to cooking school and became a professional chef and most of the commercial kitchen equipment was made by Hobart so I consider them to be a leader in the field and I would recommend anything for your kitchen with the Hobart name on it especially something as delicate as a meat slicer.

Chefs choice seems to be the best choice for business and home use. Hobart and Berkel are also excellent slicers but more for commercial use.

There are several inexpensive meat slicers that are good quality. In addition to teh Hobart , the Chef's Choice Model 610 receives high rankings from consumer groups. Either slicer is a viable option.

Hobart would be your best bet. I would recommend them or also you can try cephalon that's not bad either.
