What is the best kind of paint for ceiling tiles?

Standard drop ceiling tiles are very absorbant and will crunble easily. Cheap tempra paint (like elementary schools use) or acrylic paints will work well. I would stay away from oil based paints since the ceiling tiles will suck the oil in and make it difficult for them to dry.

Any non gloss acrylic or latex paint made for ceiling tile will work.The best on the market is Killz ultra Ceiling paint and stain killer it is oil based.

Sears Ceiling one coat latex paint, Use the correct roller,depends on the surface. I used the roller for textured ceiling tiles. I applied this to my Armstrong ceiling tiles which were textured in one heavy coat and looks like new.

Any good quality flat ceiling paint will work very well on ceiling tiles and can be applied with a good quality roller that is at least 1/2 inch thick.Eggshell or satin finish paints may also be used,but you don't want to use semi or high gloss.many people are using color on their ceilings as well.

i paint mine, white with a simi gloss and that is all i use and i like it, and it looks nice when done

whenever we use to paint for ceiling tiles, first paint the oil base primer of best quality available in market. Next you select the choice of colour ceiling paints paint it over the tiles. this is the best method. however white ceiling paint is very good one
