A b.A. is a degree that will give you a broad education. You will pick a major and minor but do not have to work in that field after graduation.

An Associated degree at the very least. So many people have lost their jobs, and people going back to school, it is impossible to get into any line of work with out atleast having the associates degree. I would strongly suggest going back for your bachelors degree at some point.

Aim for a career that you will enjoy, not just any job. Consider what you like to do and then study for a degree in that area. Then you just do not get a job. You get a vocation, a calling, a sense of purpose in life.

I would suggest getting a degree in Business. A general degree in Business is universal and any place that you would get a job at is a business. You could even go more specific to Marketing, Management or even Finance if any of those are something you are interested in.

Liberal Arts used to be the basic degree that covered many bases. Nowadays, computer knowledge and business transfer to many types of jobs.
