I would say for prom, try shimmery shadows that compliment your skin tone. If you are skilled, you may want to try a smokey eye for the night out.

I would advise anyone who is going to prom to keep their makeup very simple and elegant. Prom is not the time to experiment with makeup that is overly done. I would focus on one feature to play up and keep the rest simple.

When doing makep for the prom, you can go all out and make yourself look glamorous. You should choose shades that not only complement your skin tone but the color of your dress as well. A dramatic smokey eye look will be a great way to stand out at your prom.

I suggest do not overdo your make-up for Prom Night, don't put more on black color of make-up cause it will make you look like a ghost, you can put a silver or white eye shadow. Never over apply foundation.

Less is More! Very simple black eye shadow/liner(only to crease of lid max), and mascara. Then dazzle with deep-red/bright-pink lips (find color to match your skin tone). Stunning! Skip cover-up.
