Self-efficacy is a person's belief or views of themself. Self-efficacy is how much belief you have in your own capabilities having to do with your own performance. This deterines what goals you can achieve, the tasks you take on, and the challenges that you accept in your life. Your personal performance all depends on your self-efficacy.

Self-efficacy is a person's belief in his/her ability to handle certain situations. People with high self-efficacy look at difficult tasks as challenges to be overcome, whereas people with low self-efficacy may view difficult tasks as insurmountable and therefore avoid them.
