Causes of Rosacea are not fully understood, it may be caused by blocked hair folicles, or the swelling of blood vessels. Often hereditary and common between the ages of 30 and 50. Rosacea is characterised by blushed skin, pimples and broken blood vessels. Over the counter treatments are not always helpful, so it is best to consult a doctor.
