Permanent Press clothing is clothing that has been chemically treated to help stop wrinkles and keep clothes in there natural state without ironing. Some clothing may have permanent creasing done at the time of the chemical treatment so that it will stay intact after drying the garment on a lower heat setting.

If you hate to iron and don't want to pay the dry cleaning bill, you want permanent press clothing! It comes out of your own laundry ready to wear! Be sure to hang it right away though.

Permanent press clothing is clothing made of fibers designed not to wrinkle and return to a particular configuration (the "pressed" state, after washing, thus not needing pressing or ironing.

Permanent press clothing does not need to be ironed after being washed and dried as long as the makers instructions are followed.

Material that has been treated to resist wrinkling in the wash and dry cycle, provided you take the clothes out of the dryer promptly, otherwise they may wrinkle.
