It sounds like you have too many things running. Your system is running low on memory. You could upgrade the RAM in your computer, this would fix the problem.

There are two major possibilities to get the above said error. There may be a problem in your RAM that it may not provide sufficient physical memory to your programs. Excel uses alot of cpu power/memory. On some larger calculations, vast amounts of memory is being used. You should max out your ram, ram now days is very cheap. Also you should close out any other programs you have open while doing the calculations.
