After failed back surgery I would suggest following up with more tests to see if more repairs need to be done. Speak with another specialist for a second opinion. After that I would suggest a pain management specialist to help with the pain.

That's a discussion between you and your physician with input from the surgeon. There are many, many reasons for back surgery and many options for Plan B.

The next steps that a person should take after having a failed back surgery depends on their intial back problems. If they are having problems with movement, to have physical therapy might be the best course of treatment. If there are skeletal growth issues, braces might be the best treatment.
