Glazing is done by applying a coat of glossey clear coating to a painted surface. Most high quality paints already have this effect when applied.

Cover everything arround the cabinet. Use drop cloths to cover everything arround the cabinets, and tape off any areas that might be affected by accident. Apply the stain going with the grain of the wood. Use a cloth to wipe over the freshly applied stain. Wipe down the cabinets.
