If you inherited it, then you are the owner. You simply have to ensure that you are on record with the courts as the rightful owner, and then you could sell it just as if you had purchased the land yourself.

If you have full title to the land, you can sell it just like any other land. However, any inheritance usually involves some form of probate or other court proceeding. You will have to wait for this to be finished to have good title. Once it is done, though, you can sell it normally.

As long as a free and clear title has been issued to you then it is yours to sell. If you are concerned that a title search will come back unclear then contact an attorney.
