What is involved in relocatingI an iris?

I want ot move an Iris flower.

Dig under a clump of irises, remove part of the clump with soil on it, shake the soil loose, and then seperate each stalk. Once all of that is accomplished, simply dig 3 to 4 inch holes in another area place an iris in each, cover, and pat gently.

iris tubars are very hardy and will not only require little care but will also spread with each year. you need only dig it up and plant it where you like.

Wait till after the flower is past blooming. Dig a large circle around the bulb(s). Transfer with original ground in to a predug hole. Plant tips up. Do not water.
