check with your mechanic. sometimes other suspension components have to be removed in order to remove the front axle. also, make sure the axle that you are replacing is the correct one.

There are six bolts in the middle of the hub. Remove these and with a brass punch tap the studs to get the washers out. Then bend back the tabs on the lock under the cover. Then using a large socket you can loosen the bolt for the axle. Get teh axle out of the hub and pop it out.
