A 4x4 can be used for everyday driving just like a 2 wheel drive vehicle. However, it can also be used for off-road recreational driving as well as for driving in severe weather conditions.

The 4x4 can be on the mountain without falling, also handles water, mud etc. .. has much better traction than other cars on hard surfaces.

A 4x4 is meant to drive on surfaces that other vehicles have difficulty with. For example, dirt roads or even with some vehicles, off roading is a possibility. Also, these cars will get better traction when driving in bad weather conditions like snow and ice. Even small sand dunes on beaches can be overcome with a 4x4.
