You are going to need to take the dash apart and pull the old switch out and install the new one. You will need a repair manual to do this.

If they are either the high or low pressure switch you'll need to draw down the system to remove the refrigerant. Get a mechanic in this case.

The ac switch is located behind the dash. You will have to take the dash out and it will be right behind the radio and temperature control module.

Depends on the cars brand, model and year. Either you can do it with a screwdriver or you could have the dashboard disassembled to get to the switch.
