Depending on the size of the air conditioner, and if you're talking about the contactor in the condensing unit, it is probably a general purpose two-pole 220 volt contactor. This will likely cost about $30. If it is a three-pole contactor, it will run close to $60. If you are referring to the fan relay, it will run about $12.
