Intrapersonal communication is the process of the individual communicating within and with itself, as opposed to Interpersonal communication which is the individual communicating with others. This can include daydreams, nocturnal dreaming, speaking to oneself (talking to yourself), writing in the sense of expressing one's thoughts- also diary keeping; the internal monologue a thinking individual constantly maintains; all methods of self-communication.
