It's not difficult to make a bee sting kit - but you should price out the cost of individual items versus a kit to see if it's worth it. A good kit will include tweezers, antiseptic wipes, an instant ice pack, bandaging and antihistamine. If you are allergic to stings, it would be good to include an EpiPen as well.

It is important to have a bee sting kit on hand, especially for those individuals who spend a lot of time outside. A bee sting kit should include adhesive bandages, a few alcohol pads to cleanse the sting area, a disposable shaver for the stinger, a sting and bite pump, as well as wipes to reliever the sting.

Sting kits are easy enough to make if you are in a bind and do not have a store-bought kit on hand. Ice or a cold can of soda seems to work best but isn't always available. Alka-Seltzer works well at taking some of the sting pain away by numbing it with a fizzy sensation.
