The word "fernsehturm" means "television tower" in German. The Fernsehturm is a television tower constructed in the late 60s in the center of Berlin. It is the tallest structure in all of Germany and can be seen from most areas in and surrounding Berlin. It contains an observation deck and a rotating restaurant.
