Mothers, who find the majority of their fulfillment in raising children, often suffer depression or feelings of sadness once all her children are grown and out of the house. They feel their 'life mission' is complete, and don't know what to do with the rest of their lives.

It's the feeling when your full-grown children leave home for an extended period-- like for college, moving out, etc. You feel lost on what to do now that they've left.
