Being dizzy could simply be the result of the flu. It can also indicate neurological problems or even digestive problems. Low blood sugar or lack of proper nutrition can both cause dizziness.

Your blood pressure may be elevated which can cause light-headness. If you have a cold or seems that you are coming down with a cold, you could have an inner-ear infection which will make you seem unbalanced. Also, having an irregualar heart beat can sometimes make you dizzy: as well as certain medications drank with anything that has caffeine.

Dizziness could be high or low blood pressure, low blood sugar. It could be heat stroke, or you may be tired or not drinking enough water. If you get rest, eat right, and drink water and still suffer from this you should see a doctor. Concussions can cause you to be dizzy as well. Side effects from medicines are suspect.

This could be almost anything. For a definitive answser you must see a physician. Here is one example that is fairly common and usually benign. If you move from sitting or laying position to standing one, you may experience dizziness as your body works quickly, but not quite quick enough, to supply the brain with oxygen. It's all uphill!
