What is considered a good score on the ACT?

Scores in the upper twenties to lower 30's are considered to be good scores. The highest you can get is 36.

There is no set score that is "good." Most state colleges will accept a score over 18 or so. However, most private colleges require an absolute minimum of 25 to 28. Anything between 29 and 35 is fantastic and can get someone in to virtually any college they would like.
