You want to use "open" body language. Don't fold your arms against your body or hold them in close. Don't fidget or look away from the person you're talking with. Look the person in the eye and try and connect with them during the interview to show interest. Good luck!

Positive body language can be characterized as a positive set of mannerisms and overall demeanor. Going into an interview, curiosity, eagerness, calmness, knowledge and sincerity are some of the best aspects of oneself to portray. Focusing on posture and a positive (not slouchy) physical appearance can also be important depending on the interviewer.

Positive body language can take many forms. For example, at a job interview it is important to make sure you are sitting up straight and leaning slightly toward the person. Having your arms crossed is seen as being closed off, so it is better to have them on your lap.

Positive body language will help you a ton during this job interview. Looking at the interviewer, and making eye contact on answers, shaking hands, and sitting up straight is all deemed as positive body language. What you should not do is slouch. Do not avoid the eyes because if you do avoid them, it looks like you're hiding something.
