Why did she leave "Monk"?

She left "Monk" because the show decided do change some of its characters and where they were headed. She hasn't had any TV roles since then.

She left Monk because she asked for a pay raise and they dumped her off the show because of it. This was upsetting to many of the the cast members. She guest starred one time on Monk after that.
