An interspousal home deed transfers ownership from one spouse to another. Ownership is transfered but responsibility for the debt is not is both names are on the mortgage.

This is a transfer deed when a real estate transaction is between spouses. Most often this is used in divorce cases when the title is transfered from both spouses to one spouse alone. If one party in a marriage has severe debt problems that can impact the other party, this deed can also be implemented.

The right of the spouse on the property is called interspousal home deed. This helps the spouse, to have the right on death, divorce etc. normally, at time of agreement, many people do not include their spouse's name, then complications takes place after death specially when the hildren have grown up.
