The Gracchi and Social Revolution in Rome were an example of severe riots in early Rome. These riots resulted due to the agrarian law which limited the amount of land a single person could possess. Both Tiberius and his brother Caius were killed when they tried fiddling with this law!
I've heard that this Agrarian law was so difficult to implement these guys used illegal methods to try and keep them enforced - and they ended up dying because of it. add a comment
