This "bug" is more commonly known as the spider wasp. They drag spiders into their underground burros for their young to feed on.

Auplopus Carbonarius. These are spider like, wasp like insects. They are solitary creatures and not a lot is known of them. They do however build nests if they are female and can bee seen living in cracks and crevasses in homes. Many people automatically think of a wasp when they spot them.
