An arrowhead stitch is basically two straight stitches at right angles, forming a V shape. Usually you would stitch lots of them in even rows to form a border or a fill pattern. It's a simple, geometric stitch so it's very easy to do on Aida or other embroidery canvas.

An Arrowhead stitch is two straight stitches worked at right angles of one another. The pattern forms a V or arrowhead look. Start at the top left of the V, go down at the apex of the V, start again at the top right of the V to the apex.

This is an embroidery stitch that creates a row of V shaped stitches. It is often used for borders or patterns. It consists of pairs of straight stitches worked at a 90 degree angle to each other.
