A skin toner contains skin's own cartinine. The toner mildly cleanses your skin thouroughly and also regulates sebum production. It purifies your skin and is available for all skin types. One must choose a toner that matches his/her skin type.

A toner is designed to clean skin and minimize pores. Toner comes in three strenghts: fresheners (0-10% alcohol), suitable for dry or sensitive skins. Tonics are slightly stronger (up to 20% alcohol) for normal or combination skin. Astringents are strongest (20-60% slcohol) and are best for oily skin.

Toner is used to tone blemishes in your skin. Regularly putting toner will help moisturize and remove dark spots from your skin by removing dead skin cells and cleaning up skin pores. This will also minimize big pores in the skin.
