In the most advanced stages of Alzheimer's disease, an affected individual will lose all sense of identity. The patient will not remember anyone, including themself - as such, the individual will often become extremely frightened and agitated, much the way a newborn baby reacts immediately after birth.

This varies a great deal from patient to patient, but many of those with Alzheimer's lose all connection with the outside world in the days prior to death.

Typically, a person with advanced Alzheimer's is non-verbal and non-ambulatory. Death comes from stroke, heart attack, or pneumonia, things of that sort. Death is usually painless.

A person with Alzheimer will most likely be unable to remember his actions. Days prior to death, he will be wondering around, his limbs will be shaking more than usual.
