The peacock would ultimately prefer the underbrush areas preferably near water. They need a habitat with sufficient protection for the hatching of their young.
Since I see peacocks just about everywhere here in Florida I would have to say that their habitat would be a tropical climate. Because of their beautiful feathers the temperature is perfect for them in a warm climate.
