Partial birth abortions are not legal in the United States at this time. Partial birth abortion is a loosely defined act, but generally it involves the mother beginning the birth process of a live fetus, and then the doctor kills the fetus before the birth is complete.

It is a very troubling medical produrced. It is very late stage in the pregnancy. The baby is partial delivered from the mother. While it is still in the birth channel, the doctor will insert an instrument into the base of the infants skull, and cause the infants death. I believe at present it is legal, but moral probably not.
