What is a good time of year to plan a small, outdoor wedding?

Outdoor weddings end up the best when in early or late summer. In the middle of the summer, it can be too hot and the winter is unpredictable in a lot of cities. As for when you should start planning- even if the wedding is small, start 3 months ahead.

I would say plan it in Spring or early Summer. The months of May and early June would be ideal because the weather is very nice in those months. Also, since you're having an outdoor wedding, the sun stays out longer, so it will be light out during the ceremony.
