A wonderful gift which I received for my first anniversary was a bound book of all the email messages my husband and I had sent back and forth while courting. It was wonderful to read through the book and recall the sweet and silly things we had said.

I like gifts that have special meaning behind it. For my first anniversary my boyfriend took me to our favorite wine bar for drinks. After drinks we went to the restaurant that serves our favorite appetizers and then to our favorite dessert place. It was great to revisit places that had become special to us over they year.
