1c Butter 1 1/2c Sugar 2 Eggs 2c All Purpose Flour Pinch Salt 1tsp Vanilla 1tsp BSoda Preheat oven to 400.Sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in large bowl. Cut the butter into the dry ingredients. Stir in egg and vanilla. Roll out dough and use heart shaped cutter. Bake cookies for about 8 minutes or until lightly brown

Chocolate covered Oreo cookies are fantastic! To make them more for Valentine's Day get white chocolate and add red sprinkles or red colored white chocolate and add hearts or words to the tops of the cookies using a bakers squirt bottle. The ideas can be endless with these ingrediants and a little creativity!

Making the Valentine cookies to look like a lollipop is one of many good ways of making them special. Also adding any ingrediants to the batch such as oatmeal, raisins, toffee, and or candy. Also baking Valentine ginger gram cookies would be a different twist from the original Valentine cookies.
