Boys that age really love electronics. Maybe he would like an Ipod to listen to music, or perhaps a digital camera. If you don't mind spending the money, a laptop is great gift as well. If you want to veer away from the electronics, a new pair of sneakers from his favorite brand would be a nice gift also.

A best gift for children of age 14 is toy car or some remote control toys by giving these types of gifts he can enjoy it and the toys make him study about it's working and this will lead to development in his observation power.

As a 14 year old he is likely very much into video games. Most teenage boys play video games on their mobile devices, computers, or video game systems. Some of the most popular video game systems are the XBox 360, Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii so you should see if he has one of those and get him a game.

If he is into technology, an iPad or an iPod Touch would be good. If he has a video game console, get him a game.
