Biographies are fact, not fiction. A story of Beethoven that contains fabricated info would be considered historical fiction, not biography. Try: Beethoven: The Universal Composer by Edmund Morris
One of my favourite Beethoven biographies is "Beethoven" by Maynard Solomon. Another is "Beethoven: Impressions by His Contemporaries" by Oscar G. Sonneck.
