Interestingly, Tesla Motor company, the new manufacturer of electric cars also attracts fanboys. Tesla's is only producing something like 1,500 of its first model in 2009... so its not a mainstream producer like Apple or Sony, yet.

A fanboy is an obsessive but blind follower in a product, brand, band etc. They are generally unable to accept criticisms about the object of their desires - in a sense, they have lost objectivity about the thing that they are a fan of.

a fanboy is usually an obsessive fan and does not want to hear or say anything bad about what or who they worship. It's a pretty popular internet term but I've never heard it used in the real world.

A Fan Boy is the next best thing to a Pool Boy on a hot summer day with no air conditioning.

Fanboy is someone who chooses a side when big corporations are competing. Fanboys are also so focused on their company that sometimes they don't look to the facts and just diehard support that company. They also bash competition and sometimes have no idea what they are talking about. An non-apple example would be the playstation3 and xbox360.

A fanboy is a male who is a huge fan of another person. A good example is most professional wrestling fans. These are the guys who purchase anything with their favorite's name or face on it, and hope to one day at least meet their idols.
