One of the main disadvantages of outsourcing is the loss of control over the final product. While you have the ability to provide specifications of your product, by outsourcing, you lose the ability to personally oversee the process.

A disadvantage of outsourcing is that the outsourced workers may not speak the native language of the corporation's country of origin resulting in miscommunication.

Sending some of your work away means you're not immediately in control of it. If you need to change the way something's done it goes from you to their manager to their department leader to the workers. Especially if there's a language barrier, that's a lot of opportunity for frustration, and there's typically a communication delay.
